Fees and Class Payments
Fees may be paid weekly, monthly or by the term. Payments can be accepted by cash or cheque made payable to Northern Theatre School Ltd. Please note: Due to increased bank charges we can no longer accept cheques for amounts less than £10
Individual Student Discount: As we know that most students want to be able to take part in more than one type of performing arts class we offer a Gold Card, costing £25 per week, that allows students to attend as many classes as they wish (excluding private drama/dance lessons). However only one major syllabus class per student will be included in the Gold card. (e.g. BTEC drama or dance). Gold Card commitment is for the full term.
Advance Payment Discount: If fees are paid by the term, or half term, in advance, a 10% discount will be applied (including private drama/dance lessons)
Absences and Class Payments
In the case of unavoidable absences, due to hospital/dental appointments, bereavement or a driving test/public examination etc. class payment will be waived. Please bring in appointment card, exam timetable or letter from parents (in cases of bereavement).
Absences due to performances: If a student is performing in a school production, music concert, or production with an outside company, and the School deems that it is providing a good performance experience for the student, class payment will be waived.
IN ALL OTHER CASES CLASS PAYMENT WILL NOT BE WAIVED AND THE FEES REMAIN PAYABLE UNTIL THE END OF THE TERM FOR WHICH THE STUDENT HAS ENROLED, AS THE SCHOOL RECEIVES NO GRANT/COUNCIL FUNDING.
